Giles is an English artist living in Zhuhai, China. Born in Bristol / England in 1977, he began painting at an early age and has studied painting and sculpture extensively in France and Cardiff under the famous UK landscape painter Terry Setch and is inspired by surreal painters such as de Chirico, Dali and Magritte.
Since 2003, he has lived in Hong Kong and China and is looking to build a reputation in Hong Kong and beyond. He also runs the successful web company Misohoni.

The three pieces make up one scene, depicting space surrounded by buildings with a cut out figure on the left side coming from a wine bottle, in the middle is an image a person made from red wine and on the right side is a bowler hat.
A woman sitting on an invisible chair appears to be looking at a duplicate image of herself, made from a splash of wine.
